Braces

So, I am about 1 1/2 years behind on my regular, day-to-day, scrapping so I am just getting around to doing the layout of when Taylor got her braces in August 2008. I know lots of people are way farther behind than that, but this is probably the most behind I have been. Lucky for me I guess. I don't really get the "omg, I am so behind, I will never be caught up". I don't want to be caught up. I want to have tons of pictures to choose from when I sit down to scrapbook... so for me, I am in no hurry whatsoever to get caught up...

Anyway... here is Taylor's before and after when she got her braces...

Products used: Recollectoins pattern paper, Making Memories pattern paper, My Little Shoebox pattern paper, Jenni Bowlin diecut, Theresa Collins calendar (cut from pattern paper), American Crafts Thickers, Making Memories sticker letters, Pink Paislee brads

That is a cute layout! I am working on the year 2001--so yes a am way further behind! I have really been making some progress though and it is so much fun to look at all the photos when my kids were little. I just smile the whole time while scrapping!

Great layout! My DS is getting his braces on in two weeks. Thank you for reminding me to take a pic before he gets them on.

Cute page, I love the pink patterned paper! I always feel bad about how far behind I am and then I see my friend who is working on 2004-5 stuff or my daughter will remind me that it could be worse-I could have nothing to scrap!

I don't scrap chronologically (if I did I'd be REALLY behind since I just started scrapping about 4 or 5 years ago), but I know I still have to do my daughter's braces layout (that was only about 12 years ago!) and this gives me incentive. Nice layout.

Such a GREAT LO Heather. My DD is 13 and my son is 2.. I have MORE LO's done of my 2 yr old than my 13. So.. I am like 13 years behind.

I'm like you ~ I like to have a stack of photos to choose from. I do wish I was more organized and had more of the stories written down though.
