Mickey Mouse
Slowly, but surely I am beginning to work on my 500 Disney pictures that I have sitting in my photo box. This is actually the 2nd layout that I have done from our Disney trip, so I have a ways to go. The last time we went to Disney (in 2006) my album ended up being 4 complete albums!!!!!! I did take less pictures this time, but I am still anticipating at least 2 albums for this trip.

Products used: Bazzill cardstock, Cherry Arte paper, American Crafts metal letters, Creative Imaginations sticker, EK Success Mickey head punch, brads, Stickles and misc. ribbons

Apple bottom jeans.........boots with the fur
The whole club was looking at her

shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low
I do an entire album every year dedicated to my girls' dancing recital. Having two daughters, in a total of 12 dances, I have plenty of pictures to work with!!!! We just found out a few weeks ago that the dance school they have been attending is closing it's doors, but I have already found another school for them to go to since they both love it so much. We are sad to leave our old school, but looking forward to a new year at a new school.
Here is McKenzie's individual and class picture for her Hip Hop costume. They dance to a medley of songs including Low and Here I Come by Fergie. Of course, the crowd went crazy when Low came on!!!!
For this layout, I took an idea I saw on the Hambly website using the brick overlay. I was going to back it in red cardstock, but of course, didn't have the right color red, so I decided to paint it red and when I grabbed my red paint, I had only a tad bit left, sooooooooooo I happened to remember buying some red alcohol ink and voila........here is how it came out. I will tell you this, I did the alcohol ink on the back (wrong) side of the transparency where the ink is from the print it did tend to smear when I rubbed to hard, so be carefule if using inks on these transparencies.

Products used: Bazzill Cardstock, Hambly Overlays, Pinata Santa Fe Red alcohol ink, misc. bling, Autumn Leaves stamps, Doodlebug sticker letters, Making Memories paint, Anita's acrylic paint, Momento Tuxedo Black ink, Fancy Pants chipboard corners

Melissa's Glimmer Mist class
I took Melissa's Glimmer Mist class this weekend and had a great time. I like Glimmer Mist, but don't use it very often. I am glad I took this class since I learned a few tips that I wouldn't have known otherwise. This was a fun little book to put together. The kit came with the book, an entire package of embossed chipboard shapes, 3 mini bottles of exclusive Glimmer Mist colors, paper, ribbons and more. To finish my book, I did add several things after I got home, so not everything that I used in my book was included in the class. Here is my finished project!!!!
PS. I wanted to give a shout out to the ladies from Alexandria that told me they visit my blog everyday, so Anna, Pat and Becky...........HEY GIRLS!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to check my blog every day!!!!

True Love
Finished another layout this week. I seem to be getting out of my little slump of not wanting to do anything, so that is a good thing. I like this layout, again, it didn't turn out quite the same as I had pictured in my head, but I like it nonetheless. Not to mention, I think I already scrapbooked this picture, but whatever, lol.

Products used: Bazzill cardstock, Fancy Pants overlay, MAMBI bling, I can't remember who makes the punchout letters that I used

a new mini book.......
I am not sure if I like this one or not. I love the skull and crossbones, it just didn't come out the way I had it pictured in my head, I think it was cuter in my head. Nothing like using up a bunch of scraps though, that is always a good thing. Anyway, another project that I don't really have a use for, just wanted to do something because I was bored.
I cut the skull and crossbone from the Cricut Indie cartridge out of leftover cereal boxes. I cut out two of them and then glued them on top of each other to give it some strength. Once you glue the cardstock on both sides, you have a pretty thick cover. I did the same thing for the pages.
Products used: Cricut Indie cartridge, Bazzill cardstock, misc. jewels, Stickles, Heidi Swapp chipboard pieces, misc ribbons, Making Memories sticker letters, Doodlebug flock and glitter and sugarcoated paper, Creative Imaginations epoxy stickers, some old rubons I have had for a gazillion years, and a binding ring

Halloween 2007
So I am still working on pictures from October of last year. Not too bad since I know lots of people who are a lot further behind than that. Actually, I don't mind being behind too much, that way, I know that I will always have something to work on.
Here is a layout from last Halloween. We had a blast!!! My brother and sister-in-law usually have a party at their house.........food, fun, tricks and treats. This year she had a 70s theme. The girls had some leftover dance costumes that worked great for this theme and I dressed up ELVIS!!!!!

Products used: KI Memories paper, Carolee paper, Bazzill cardstock, misc ribbon, Doodlebug sugarcoated paper, Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge (stars), Li'l Davis chipboard title, Making Memories sticker letters, Doodlebug flock, Sandylion bat stickers, K & Co. glitter sticker
