Last Wednesday the Design Team met for a couple of hours. Our meeting was for us to each have a theme (that we pulled out of hat) and make a layout to display in the store for that particular section. I pulled Christmas, which isn't really a favorite of mine to scrap, but I took it like a trooper, lol. Janet got the new Bo Bunny Christmas line is that is really REALLY pretty, so I decided to use that. I painted the chipboard with Versamagic inkpads and then sprayed Glimmer Mist over them for a little something more. After that I weaved two ribbons together and the ran them in and out of the chipboard swirls. This is an easy way to make a big impact using texture on your pages. Finally I added some of the gorgeous Prima bling and and flowers. The flowers were the white Bazzill flowers that I used Glimmer Mist on to make them the color I wanted.
I do think I am going to add the word "family" right above the Tradition rubon and possible the year. I wanted to add them that night, but needed either some small gold letters or my gold leafing pen, neither of which I had that night.
Products used: Bo Bunny pattern papers, velvet ribbon, Carolee's rubons, Prima bling, K & Co. bling, Bazzill flowers, Glimmer Mist, Rusty Pickle chipboard, Versamagic inks, misc. ribbons
